A visitor's Covid-19 Green Pass is checked at the entrance to a bar in Rome, Italy, 09 August 2021. Effective from 06 August, the so-called Green Pass is advocated by the government as the alternative to lockdowns in the light of the spreading Delta variant of the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic coronavirus.
